Hollingsworth Grove Public Housing Complex

Little Rock, Arkansas
October 2009 - January 2010

This large 165-unit apartment complex was demolished to accommodate a runway expansion for the Little Rock National Airport. The 57-year old complex contained numerous asbestos-containing materials which had to be removed before the structures could be demolished. The scope of work for this project includes the removal and disposal of floor tile, black mastic, pipe insulation, transite soffit and acoustical ceiling texture. EPA worked in conjunction with EPA Demolition and Excavation, which performed the demolition of the structures.
