Junction Bridge Pedestrian Conversion
North Little Rock, Arkansas
August 2007 to March 2008
In May 2008, the Junction Bridge, an old railroad bridge constructed in 1884 was converted into a pedestrian bridge connecting the cities of
North Little Rock and Little Rock. EPA's scope of work in this historical project consisted of lead pain removal by needle gun and chemical
stripping. The work was coordinated by May Construction of Little Rock, the general contractor of the Junction Bridge Pedestrian conversion project.
