Terry Blaylock, President Terry Blaylock is President of Environmental Protection
Associates, and is based out of the central office in Little Rock, Arkansas. He
is a graduate of Henderson State University with a Masters of Science Degree and
Bachelor of Science degree in Education. Mr. Blaylock has been in the Insulation
and Asbestos abatement industry since 1984. He is responsible for the day-to-day
management of the company as well as estimation, contract administration,
securing subcontractors and field operations. Mr. Blaylock has an Asbestos
Contractor/ Supervisor Training and Lead Supervisor Certification and has completed a Mold Remediation in Buildings training course and is a Certified Microbial
Remediation Supervisor.
Joe G. Whiteside, Vice-President Joe Whiteside is Chief Executive Officer of Environmental
Protection Associates and founded the company in 1981. He is a graduate of the
University of Central Arkansas and holds a Masters of Science degree in Business
Administration from the University of Mississippi. He was a Charter Member of
the National Asbestos Council. Mr. Whiteside has been a speaker for numerous
asbestos training and awareness conferences including those for the State of
Arkansas Department of Pollution Control and Ecology, OSHA and the Army Corps of
Engineers. He has an Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor Certification for the state
of Arkansas. Mr. Whiteside is also a certified Inspector/Management Planner and
Project Designer under the AHERA regulations and has completed the Environmental
Property Assessment Course and the Georgia Institute of Technology Supervision
of Asbestos Abatement Contracts Course.
David Prewett, Chief Operating Officer/General Counsel David Prewett is Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel for Environmental Protection Associates. Mr. Prewett holds an Accounting Degree
from the University of Central Arkansas and a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Arkansas. Mr. Prewett has over 25 years experience as a licensed Attorney
in the State of Arkansas specializing in corporate and environmental law. Mr. Prewett has been with EPA for 22 years, and in the course of his time with EPA has helped
manage the daily business operations with expertise in all regulatory, contractual, personnel, and accounting matters.
Gary Nooner, Project Coordinator Gary Nooner is a Project Coordinator for Environmental Protection Associates. He has 20 years of asbestos abatement experience,
and has been employed with EPA for all 20 years. Mr. Nooner has completed the Contractors and Supervisor of Asbestos Abatement Contracts Course, Asbestos
Inspector Training Course, and Lead Awareness Training Course. He has Asbestos Supervisor Certification for the states of Arkansas and Louisiana.
He is also certified as a CPR/First Aid provided by the American Heart Association’s Heart Saver Course
Eldridge Jones, Project Superintendent Eldridge Jones is a Project Superintendent for Environmental Protection Associates. He has 21 years experience in Asbestos Abatement, all
with EPA. He has served as a Project Superintendent for 19 years, supervising several million dollars worth of abatement. Mr. Jones has completed the Contractors
and Supervision of Asbestos Abatement Contracts Course, Asbestos Inspector Training Course, NIOSH Course #582 Equivalency, Mold Remediation Hazards
& Standards Course,
Lead-Based Paint Worker Course, and Lead Awareness Training Course. Mr. Jones has Asbestos Supervisor Certification for the states of Arkansas, Mississippi, Missouri,
and Louisiana. He is also certified as a CPR/First Aid provider by the American Heart Association’s Heart Saver Course. Mr. Jones has completed a 10-hour Occupational
Safety and Health Training Course.
Aaron Hoffman, Project Superintendent Aaron Hoffman is a Project Superintendent for Environmental Protection Associates. He has been employed by Environmental Protection
Associates for 16 years. He has completed the Contractors and Supervisor of Asbestos Abatement Contracts Course and Lead Awareness Training Course. Mr.
Hoffman has Asbestos Supervisor Certification for the states of Arkansas, Mississippi, Missouri, and Louisiana. He also has completed a 10-hour Occupational
Safety and Health Training Course.
Victor Lopez, Project Superintendent Victor Lopez is a Project Superintendent for Environmental Protection Associates. He has been employed with EPA for 14 years and has
served as Project Superintendent for 3 years. Mr. Lopez has completed the Contractors and Supervisor of Asbestos Abatement Contracts Course and Lead Awareness
Training Course. He has completed a 10-hour Occupational Safety and Health Training Course
Anne Ray, Office Manager Anne Ray has been an Administrative Assistant in the asbestos industry for 15 years. She has been Office Manager for Environmental
Protection Associates for 10 years. She is currently the Office Manager for the Central Arkansas Office in Little Rock, Arkansas. Ms. Ray’s experiences
include scheduling, notifications, insurance, bonds, certifications, and licenses associated with asbestos abatement contracting. Ms. Ray works with all
EPA staff and clients to ensure project ease. She is in charge of invoicing, maintaining employee certification and training, and handles all other administrative
aspects of asbestos abatement projects.
Nancy Zotz, Safety Officer/Administrative Coordinator Nancy Zotz is Administrative Coordinator of Environmental Protection Associates. She has been employed by Environmental Protection
Associates for 9 years. Ms. Zotz coordinates, schedules, and handles all administrative aspects of asbestos abatement projects. Ms. Zotz works with all EPA
staff and clients to ensure that all projects are running smoothly and cost-efficiently. She also maintains employee training and certification.
Nancy has completed a 30-hour Occupational Safety and Health Training Course in General Industry.
Kellye Downs, Accountant Kellye Downs joined Environmental Protection Associates in 2008 bringing with her over 25 years of accounting experience. Ms. Downs has 9
years of experience with a Certified Public Accounting firm and 6 years from a manufacturing facility. Her duties include payroll, accounts payable and accounts
receivable. Ms. Downs provides financial information to management by compiling and analyzing account information. She prepares balance sheets and profit
& loss
statements
